Away from real estate, Simon enjoys travelling, exploring different cities and experiencing the architecture, history and culture that make each place distinctive. His travels throughout Canada and Europe have reinforced an interest in how neighbourhoods develop, how people live and what gives a community its character.

That interest also extends into interior design and renovation. Simon enjoys working with spaces, considering layout, finishes and functionality, and has hands-on experience improving and renovating properties. It gives him an additional perspective when looking at a home’s potential, whether that means recognizing what already works well or seeing opportunities that may not be immediately obvious.

Simon particularly enjoys spending time in Portugal, discovering new places, good food and local history, while also appreciating the energy and convenience of downtown Calgary. Travel, design and renovation provide both a creative outlet and a broader perspective that he brings back to everyday life and his work with clients.
